Our all-round package for less traffic and more quality of stay

With our city logistics projects, we accompany and support cities on their way into the future.

Our aim is to reduce logistics traffic and CO2 emissions at the same time. This also strengthens stationary retail, which becomes even more attractive with additional services. In this way, we are helping cities to regain a higher quality of stay.

Concept development & scientific support

We bring all the players to the table and moderate the interests. In doing so, we contribute our know-how and existing analyses as well as the expertise from our pool of experts. We provide concrete recommendations for action and support in project creation and applications for funding.

Provider-open parcel lockers

Our provider-open parcel stations can be set up at central, easily accessible locations in the city area; all that is needed is a foundation and a power supply. At them, citizens can not only pick up parcels or goods from local retailers around the clock, but also deposit their own goods, bags, etc.

Logistics software

The pakadoo software is used to manage parcels in the microhub and store them at parcel stations. For retailers, there is an online portal for processing customer orders and parcels. Citizens who want to use the parcel service or the offers of the retailers register on the myPAKADOO platform or in the myPAKADOO app.

Implementation in practice

We support the search for partners to operate a microhub and to carry out emission-free transports. In doing so, we are happy to involve local companies and platforms or draw on our existing network. Our goal is to develop a sustainable business model as well as to integrate and thus strengthen local trade.

4 reasons that speak for pakadoo

  1. We come from practice. Our software has been successfully used in companies for years, thanks to our comprehensive logistics know-how we know the challenges of city logistics projects.
  2. Our focus is not only on consulting and concept development. We have an interest in developing and implementing a resulting viable, sustainable business and operating model for your city.
  3. Every project phase can be supported by us. No matter where you are, whether you need moderation, consulting, concrete help with funding applications, scientific support, or the planning and implementation of measures.
  4. We use existing infrastructures. We help to find local partners and platforms, which we can involve at any time and thus significantly accelerate the implementation.

How the pakadoo city logistics works:

Schaubild Funktionsweise pakadoo
  1. Citizens register with pakadoo and receive a personal PAK ID.
  2. When ordering from online stores or local retailers, this PAK ID is entered together with the address of a parcel depot (microhub) as the delivery address.
  3. The parcel service providers deliver bundled at the microhub.
  4. The goods ordered from the local retailers can be delivered without emissions either to the microhub, to centrally located parcel lockers, or directly to customers or companies.
  5. The parcels received at the microhub are delivered by e-vehicles or cargo bikes to households, public parcel stations or businesses, and the recipients are notified automatically.
  6. Parcel shipments destined for the retailers are also delivered bundled at the microhub and from there delivered to the retailer without emissions.

The e-commerce boom is causing more and more problems with delivery traffic in city centers.

This can only be solved by non-discriminatory provider-open concepts that are thought out by the stakeholders, i.e. fellow citizens, local retailers and the city.

We support pakadoo in the development of such concepts.
